Overview
Keystone Health is seeking a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Work hours are Monday and Wednesday 7:15–16:30, Tuesday 7:15–18:00, Thursday 7:15–17:00 and Friday 7:15–12:00. The role supports a mission to provide patient-centered oral health care with a focus on prevention.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist and hygienist chairside.
- Perform reception duties.
- Manage inventory.
- Maintain patient records.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Capture radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Maintain tidy treatment areas.
- Assist the dental team in expediting patient care whenever possible.
High‑school graduate or GED required. Two years’ experience as an expanded‑function dental assistant is desired. Willingness to learn, expand abilities, and grow with the facility is essential.
Licenses & Certifications- Certification in Dental Radiology in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current Pennsylvania Expanded Functions License.
- Current CPR certification.
