Our client located in Chicago, Illinois needs a Dental Patient Care Coordinator. This is an onsite direct hire opportunity.

Dental Patient Care Coordinator Role

The Dental Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment. This individual will manage scheduling, patient communications, insurance verification, and front office operations while helping ensure every patient receives outstanding service from check in through treatment completion. The ideal candidate is professional, customer focused, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage appointment scheduling and provider calendars
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Answer incoming phone calls and patient inquiries
  • Coordinate patient check in and check out processes
  • Collect payments and assist with financial discussions as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support daily administrative and operational needs of the practice
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and clinical team members
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience at every interaction
Background Profile
  • 2 Years of previous dental front office experience
  • Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts and two Saturdays per month
  • Experience with insurance verification, scheduling, and patient coordination is highly desirable
