Salary Range: $21.15 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterilization, disinfection, and technical maintenance of dental instruments, supplies, and equipment used by students and staff.
- Operate sterilizing machines and thermal disinfectors.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterile processing standards.
- Dispense and stock out instruments and supplies in accordance with service windows.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of sterilization cycles and inventory.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduation or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a medical, health care, or laboratory setting performing sterile processing procedures, or current certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of dental instrumentation, procedures, and materials.
- Experience operating sterilizers and thermal disinfectors.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control procedures.
