We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to support the estimating and design phases of commercial interior projects.
This role is responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals, communicating with customers throughout the bidding process, and producing shop drawings for approved projects.
Responsibilities- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and finish schedules to understand project scope.
- Prepare cost estimates and formal bid proposals for commercial projects.
- Apply markups and complete internal bid documentation.
- Communicate directly with contractors, developers, and designers to answer bid-related questions.
- Revise estimates based on scope changes or clarifications.
- Track bid status and follow up as needed.
- Upon award, create shop drawings and design documentation for production.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure estimates, drawings, and scope align.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and project stakeholders.
- Experience with estimating, drafting, or construction documentation preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD-based shop drawings a plus.
