The Opportunity
This 6-month contract-to-hire role is for a UX Designer to collaborate on a multidisciplinary team, creating exceptional user experiences for various clients. You’ll partner with strategists and architects to design new interactive digital applications, ensuring they meet client needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
-Design user experiences that are both user-friendly and strategically sound.
-Participate in the entire design process, from concept to delivery.
-Iterate on design solutions through a user-centered approach.
-Balance user needs with client goals, technical feasibility, and market viability.
-Create and contribute to design systems, wireframes, and functional specifications.
-Craft storyboards, user flows, and detailed information architecture.
-Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating ideas.
-Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the design process.
You’re a perfect fit if you have:
-3+ years of experience designing complex digital experiences.
-Experience working in an agency, product development team, or consultancy (preferred).
-Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and lean product design methodologies.
-A portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverables.
-Experience across various business verticals, technologies, and user types.
-Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar design tools.
- Experience with prototyping tools and product management platforms.
-This contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone based in the Chicago area, but open to other US locations.
