Project Architect

Role Summary

As a Gensler Project Architect, you will lead a team of architects and designers to deliver exceptional architectural projects. Your industry experience and technical expertise will drive projects from concept through construction.

• Manage client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants and others.
• Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.
• Maintain project manual and specifications.
• Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFIs during construction.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in a commercial design firm.
• Chicago project experience preferred.
• Licensed Architect.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Sketch Up, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.
• Core & Shell experience required.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, construction, and building structures.
• LEED accreditation preferred.

The base salary range will be estimated between $95,000 - $120,000 plus bonuses and benefits and is contingent on relevant experience. This is not a remote position. If you’re open to relocation, non-local candidates are welcome.
