Project Coordinator

An interior design firm in Chicago is seeking a Project Coordinator/Designer to join their studio.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee the execution of interior design projects from start to finish. The role involves managing project budgets, procuring furniture and accessories, and coordinating with design teams to ensure project success.

• Inventory all furniture plans and RCPs to create a budget
• Create and maintain project budgets
• Quote projects with vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
• Review all quotes for accuracy and purchase approved FF&E
• Purchase project accessories as selected by the design team
• Coordinate styling on-site post-FF&E installation with the design team
• Input FF&E specifications into Spec Source and work on any respecs
• Travel and stage all purchased accessories and furniture for project installations
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues
• Liaise with the internal design team to understand procurement needs
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier information
• Assist with general office tasks and maintain organized project files and folders
• Manage daily office calendar and assist with meeting preparation
• Order, stock, and track office supplies

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• 2-3+ years of professional experience working within an interiors firm
• 1+ year of procurement experience
• Proficiency in Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in project coordination, procurement management, and project management

Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $32.45/hr.
