Senior Interior Designer

Overview

Abrams Valenti Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role in Chicago, IL. The Senior Interior Designer will lead projects from concept to completion, including space planning, interior architecture, and detailed construction drawings. Responsibilities include sourcing FF&E, collaborating with clients, vendors, and contractors to bring creative design visions to life, and ensuring high-quality execution of all project phases.

The designer will also manage timelines, budgets, and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and project success.

• Lead projects from concept to completion, including space planning, interior architecture, and detailed construction drawings.
• Source FF&E and coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to realize design visions.
• Manage project timelines and budgets; maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and project success.

• Expertise in Residential Interior Design and FF&E specification
• Proficiency in Space Planning and detailed Interior Architecture
• Experience creating and reviewing Construction Drawings
• Strong collaboration, project management, and client communication skills
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of industry best practices, materials, and current trends
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in residential interior design
