Senior UI Designer

We are looking for a Senior UI Designer for our Chicago office who has experience designing web applications, eCommerce sites, and/or mobile apps. The role is headquartered in Chicago.

• Highly self‑driven and strategic thinker delivering top‑quality work and inspiring others.
• Set the bar for quality and innovation for colleagues and clients.
• Fluent in AI‑enabled tools from research and prototyping to delivering finished experiences.
• Create UI comps for screens (web software, e‑commerce sites, mobile apps) informed by modern, industry‑appropriate design trends.
• Oversee the design of UI style guides and design systems – either from scratch or from existing brand guidelines – with a distinct point of view on how things should look and why.
• Collaborate with PMs, clients, and other team members to understand user needs, business goals, and key requirements.
• Ensure developers have what they need to understand the design intention and oversee design QA during development.
• Actively collaborate with other designers on a project.
• Learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital design developments; apply these to improve processes and procedures.
• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

• Understanding of key design principles such as typography, illustration, imagery, content, and composition; proficiency in applying them in web design applications.
• 3 to 7 years of project work and design experience, particularly in a consulting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent boot camp experience in a design‑related field.
• A portfolio that demonstrates a solid understanding of the latest UI design standards and processes, and the soft skills required to work well on a team; portfolio review will be part of our interview process.

As a member of our design team, you will collaborate with fellow designers on projects and learn from one another. Our sprint‑based approach allows designers time to think and explore ideas while delivering consistent results for clients. We also value a 40‑hour work week, encourage professional growth through training and development opportunities, and empower designers to shape how we work.

Salary range: $90,000 – $120,000 USD. Base salaries are determined during the interview process based on experience, skills, and role responsibilities.
