We believe architecture is more than designing buildings; it’s about providing solutions to societal challenges and creating stronger, more vibrant communities. As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well‑being worldwide. From healing environments and learning spaces to research labs and civic landmarks, your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them.

- Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
- Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
- Prepare drawings and specification documents
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Review, distribute and file submittals, shop drawings, material data and samples
- Assist the Project Manager’s efforts to coordinate the structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines throughout the design process in preparation of the final working drawings
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the A/E industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and flexible
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
