Our client is seeking a talented 3D Designer to support the development of innovative retail and event design experiences. This role is ideal for a designer with a background in architecture, interior design, environmental design, or experiential/event design who excels at bringing concepts to life through high-quality 3D visualization and spatial design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and develop 3D retail and event design solutions based on creative briefs
  • Create detailed renderings, presentation materials, and design intent documentation
  • Support technical design development and assist with reviewing production/shop drawings
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand standards and design language
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute concepts from ideation through production
  • Present design concepts, incorporate feedback, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or related fiels
  • 2–3+ years of relevant experience in retail, experiential, environmental, or event design
  • Expert-level proficiency in 3DS Max (required)
  • Strong spatial design, visualization, and rendering capabilities
  • Experience with Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Solid Works, and Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Strong hand-sketching and digital design skills
  • Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, feedback-driven environment
  • Projects may include planogram development in PowerPoint and 3D renderings in 3

    DSMax
  • Opportunity to help translate concepts into design intent documentation for downstream development partners
  • Must be able to work onsite in Chicago five days per week
