What You'll Be Doing

+ Play a key role in a large-scale restaurant refresh initiative across North America

+ Design and optimize kitchen layouts and ordering spaces to enhance efficiency and guest experience

+ Analyze customer and employee traffic flow to improve functionality and space utilization

+ Create and revise construction documents in AutoCAD (floor plans, elevations, sections, details)

+ Redline and update existing drawings to meet evolving project needs

+ Coordinate with vendors, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and execution

+ Support equipment layouts including kitchen systems, plumbing, utilities, and service stations

+ Ensure compliance with ADA standards and brand guidelines

+ Partner with cross-functional teams (architecture, interiors, graphics, engineering) to deliver cohesive designs

+ Contribute to branding and signage placement to maintain visual consistency across locations

What You Bring

+ 2+ years of professional experience (non-academic) in design or drafting

+ Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (this is a must-have)

+ Proven experience with space planning or facility layout design

+ Ability to read, review, and mark up technical drawings with precision

+ Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills

+ Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-driven environment

+ Motivated, proactive, and eager to take ownership of your work

Nice to Have

+ Experience in restaurant, retail, or commercial design

+ Exposure to kitchen layouts or food service environments

+ Familiarity with Bluebeam, Autodesk Design Review, or similar tools

+ Interest or experience in branding and signage coordination

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
