Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction and removal drawings/designs.
What You’ll DoSuccessful candidates will complete demolition, design and construction drafting work, related to substation plans and section views, construction details, electrical one‑lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and communications diagrams. They will also complete basic design tasks in addition to their drafting workload. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
What We Expect from You- Two‑year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of Micro Station is preferred.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical substation drawings, such as one‑lines, general arrangements, schematics, and wiring is preferred.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.

Target Base Hourly Compensation Range for this role is $33.50/hr - $44.50/hr factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
