Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to assist in all design phases for various projects, including renovations to existing structures. You will produce construction documents from start to finish in AutoCAD and Revit for lab/pharma and corporate interior renovation projects.

Your role will involve participating in construction administration activities, coordinating with clients, project teams, and consultants, and providing exceptional, proactive, friendly client service. You will inspire, teach, and lead by example, mentoring architectural design staff and completing assignments within schedule.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

+ 5-8+ years of experience in architecture.

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Join a 50-person design firm located in the Chicago Loop, recognized as the 'Architect of the Year' by the Chicago Real Estate Community. Our firm provides a full range of design services, serving a variety of corporate office building clients across the US and Canada. Our work environment features an open studio layout with cubicles, fostering collaboration and offering lots of natural light.

We operate in a business casual setting with office hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing for a 1-hour flexible swing. The office includes a break room for your convenience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.85 - $52.88/hr.
