Architect-Associate
The role of an Associate Architect involves researching, programming, planning, designing, and administering building projects for clients across industries such as data centers, commercial, and advanced manufacturing. You will also mentor less experienced professionals, collaborate with technical and engineering leads, and work across multiple teams.
This is a hybrid all-United States opportunity. Candidates will work remotely and report to a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellence in all phases of projects—from planning through construction administration and close‑out—while maintaining firm-wide quality standards and collaborating closely with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads to understand design intent and outcomes.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited architectural program.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
- Extensive experience with building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules.
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams.
- Ability to travel to project sites in the United States.
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Professional architectural license, with the ability to be licensed in multiple states.
- Experience designing advanced facilities such as data centers, life science, or other industrial facilities that include office environments.
- Participation in professional organizations.
- LEED AP credentials.

SalaryBase salary range: $91,400.00 to $, determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
