Space Planner - Restaurant Design & Construction
A global brand headquartered in Chicago is seeking a Space Planner to support new restaurant development and remodel projects across the country. This is a great opportunity for someone with an architectural background who enjoys space planning, designing efficient layouts, and seeing projects come to life from concept through construction.
Responsibilities- Support new restaurant construction and renovation projects
- Create, update, and revise floor plans, elevations, and architectural details using AutoCAD
- Develop space plans that improve customer flow, employee efficiency, and overall restaurant functionality
- Coordinate equipment layouts, kitchen designs, service areas, and operational spaces
- Review shop drawings and collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with ADA requirements and company standards
- Assist with architectural detailing, redlines, and drawing updates throughout project execution
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- 2+ years of AutoCAD experience
- Experience supporting commercial, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or similar building projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
