Occupancy Planner​/Design Manager

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. seeks an Occupancy Planner / Design Manager to lead strategic space planning and workplace design for corporate real estate clients. In this role, you will analyze headcount and utilization data, develop test fits and stacking plans, and manage moves, adds, and changes across complex portfolios. You will collaborate with project management, facilities, and brokerage teams to deliver integrated real estate solutions that support client business goals, sustainability targets, and a high-performing workplace experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic space and occupancy planning for corporate real estate portfolios, aligning with client business goals
• Develop test fits, stacking plans, and workplace layouts using CAFM/CAD tools
• Analyze utilization data and headcount projections to forecast future space needs
• Manage end-to-end planning for moves, adds, and changes in partnership with facilities and project teams
• Create and maintain accurate space data, standards, and documentation for all assigned sites
• Collaborate with design, project management, and brokerage teams to deliver integrated real estate solutions
• Present space scenarios, recommendations, and metrics to clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building codes, workplace standards, and sustainability objectives
• Support change management and communication related to workplace redesign and relocations
• Contribute to continuous improvement, analytics, and technology-enabled planning processes
