Headache Medicine Physician (Clinical Faculty)

Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Headache Medicine Physician. The Department of Neurological Sciences is growing and is looking to add BC/BE academic and community neurologists who have completed a Fellowship in Headache Medicine to their downtown Main Campus location.

The current team includes 6 academic clinical neurologists with Headache Medicine expertise. Candidates will have a faculty appointment and join the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center, Division of Headache Medicine and Neuro‑ophthalmology. Opportunities to grow outpatient Headache Medicine practice will include outpatient and inpatient settings. Teaching and research opportunities are also available if desired. Outstanding clinical skills are required.

Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. A competitive salary and benefits package are available.

• Provide outpatient and inpatient Headache Medicine clinical care, including diagnosis and management, and perform procedures as required.
• Participate in faculty teaching activities for residents and fellows within the Department of Neurological Sciences.
• Engage in research activities and support research initiatives as desired.
• Collaborate clinically with other neurologic subspecialty faculty and contribute to interdisciplinary care.

• Graduate of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
• Eligible for the ABPN in General Neurology and to obtain the UCNS in Headache Medicine.
• Outstanding clinical skills and ability to grow outpatient practice, including procedures.
• Experience or interest in faculty teaching and research is a plus.

Pay Range: $251,700 - $367,200. Competitive total compensation includes base pay, benefits, incentive programs, sign‑on and retention bonuses, and relocation allowances. Additional compensation based on exceeding productivity targets is possible.
