DescriptionThe University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section of General Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking part-time Clinical Associates at 30% effort for one-year renewable terms. The appointees will contribute to inpatient service coverage, which may be done on Labor & Delivery and/or inpatient GYN consultation service. Appointees may elect to participate in one or both options. When assigned to Labor and Delivery shift coverage, the appointees will cover shifts in-house at the Family Birth Center on the Hyde Park campus.
These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity, and are not benefits‑eligible.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must
1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent,
2) hold medical licensure in the State of Illinois,
3) be Board certified or eligible in General Obstetrics and Gynecology, and
4) have completed an ACGME accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
