OverviewThe Department of Diagnostic Radiology & Nuclear Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a part-time or full-time Pediatric radiologist to join our well-established department in Chicago, IL. Join a collegial group of 28 sub-specialized radiologists serving Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Rush Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, and numerous outpatient facilities in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities- Interpret pediatric x‑ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations.
- Perform and interpret pediatric fluoroscopic examinations.
- Work closely with radiology residents and medical students from Rush Medical College.
- Collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from pediatrics, pediatric surgery, and pediatric subspecialty services.
- Participate in administration, research, hospital committees, and quality initiatives.
Equipment includes 10 clinical MRI magnets, a 3T research magnet, 12 CT scanners (including dual‑energy CT systems), and a state‑of‑the‑art photon‑counting CT.
