Job Description This Community Health Center is actively seeking a passionate and motivated Internal Medicine Physician . You will love working within our culture and diverse, multi-disciplinary team of medical providers.

Our health network currently includes locations in South Chicago, Pullman, East Side, Roseland, Pullman, Chicago Lawn, and Chicago Vocational Career Academy (CVCA).

Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an Internal Medicine Physician , you will provide ongoing comprehensive primary care to our patients. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive and high-quality primary care services to patients
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Partner with hospitals close to our health centers to offer our patients imaging and specialty care
Participate in education, leadership, research, and advocacy opportunities
Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of the Medical Department and the organization
Support and contribute to the growth and development of the healthcare organization

Job Requirements Requirements
Education and Experience
M.D. or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine or another approved specialty.
Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon
Current and valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Eligible for, or maintenance of, hospital privileges at affiliated hospitals
Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs.
COVID-19 vaccine documentation is required for all employees.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.
Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
