Position Overview
The Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full‑time Pediatric Otolaryngologist to provide pediatric otolaryngology services in the Chicagoland area.
This is a non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educator position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until it is filled.
ResponsibilitiesClinical care of pediatric otolaryngology patients, participation in Surgeon of the Week coverage, and active involvement in resident and fellow education.
QualificationsApplicants must have completed or be enrolled in an ACGME‑accredited pediatric otolaryngology fellowship, be board‑certified or board‑eligible in otolaryngology, and be board‑certified or board‑eligible in complex pediatric otolaryngology. Candidates must hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
The ideal candidate will practice the full spectrum of general and complex pediatric otolaryngology with a subspecialty focus in advanced head and neck surgery, including congenital masses and cysts, inflammatory neck disorders, salivary gland surgery, thyroid/parathyroid, and pediatric head and neck oncology, and will contribute to a busy surgical practice and dynamic team during a period of rapid growth.
Compensation and BenefitsBase pay range: $425,000 – $625,000.
