This large, academic medical center provides comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology services in an inpatient setting. The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and advanced practice professionals. The center maintains the resources and protocols necessary to support complex pediatric cases, including pediatric transplant services.

Chicago offers a range of attractions, including the Skydeck at Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and architecture boat tours along the Chicago River. The city is home to museums, a free zoo in Lincoln Park, and a noted arts and culture scene encompassing blues, jazz, theater, and comedy. Dining and shopping options are also available throughout the area.

The Physician Associate will provide inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology care Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily patient volume ranges from 3 to 6, with the potential to increase as additional hematology/oncology cases are incorporated. Documentation is conducted through EPIC EMR, and hospital privileges are required with a credentialing timeline of 30 to 60 days. Board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology is required, and an active Illinois state license is highly preferred for submission.
