Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a cardiac anesthesiologist to join their designated level 1 trauma center in Chicago, IL. This major 319-bed city hospital serves a diverse patient population on the west side of Chicago near Douglass Park. The role offers a fast-paced environment working alongside a talented and supportive team of surgeons and staff members.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Salary: $460K
- Cardiac Stipend: $25K
- Sign-on bonus: $50K paid in first payroll

Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- TEE proficiency is required
- Completion of Cardiac Fellowship
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
