The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank to lead our busy Level 1 orthopaedic trauma service.
The appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in the context of a career in academic orthopaedics. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. - have a medical doctorate or equivalent
- hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
- be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent
We especially welcome applicants who have completed an ACGME-approved fellowship or its equivalent in orthopaedic traumatology.
