Position OverviewThe Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a strong interest in graduate medical education to expand services and strengthen educational training for general psychiatry residents and medical students.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $280,000 to $325,000 per year.

- Direct patient care & expansion of child and adolescent psychiatric services
- Supervision and teaching of general psychiatry residents and medical students
- Function as a University faculty member, performing duties appropriate to academic rank and position
- Support the development of an ACGME-accredited child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, administer program operations, teaching, scholarly activity, recruitment, selection, faculty development, orientation, evaluation, and promotion
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- MD or DO graduate of an LCME/AACOM-accredited medical school
- Graduate of an ACGME-approved child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Illinois
- ABPN board-certified in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
- Experience in administration of educational programs
