Overview
Kott is accepting applications from 2nd/3rd year advanced degree students for the 2025-26 academic year through May 31, 2026. The Kott Gerontology Scholars Program (KGSP) provides a $10,000 scholarship, deepened exposure to the field of aging, and opportunities for interdisciplinary peer-to-peer learning and support. Scholars are required to complete a 600-hour internship and a macro project of their choosing.
Program DetailsKott Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship paid in two installments, and participate in monthly meetings with guest speakers, a 600-hour internship, and completion of a macro project. Scholars join an interdisciplinary cohort from programs such as Social Work, Law, Art Therapy, Non-Profit Management, Public Health, and others, enabling peer-to-peer learning and support. Students are encouraged to secure internships prior to or during the KGSP application process.
KGSP assists with internship placements as needed.
