Lead Early Childhood Teacher – West Loop
Join Kido USA as a founding Lead Teacher in our brand‑new West Loop campus. Kido International Preschool is redefining early childhood education through thoughtfully designed, nurturing environments where children thrive.
What You’ll Do- Inspire learning:
Use our curriculum to deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. - Multitask with purpose:
Support growth and well‑being of each child through responsive care, balanced routines, and effective classroom management. - Build strong relationships:
Partner with families and children through open communication, daily interactions, and meaningful moments of connection. - Collaborate with your team:
Work alongside talented educators to create a joyful, purposeful classroom culture that supports every child’s development. - Make a lasting impact:
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications, including:
- 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of college credit with at least 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, OR
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, OR
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- At least 18 years old
- Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
- 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori or Reggio‑inspired environment
