Cross Country Education is seeking exceptional Special Education Teachers ready to champion the success of diverse learners in Chicago, IL, for the school year.
Position Overview:
- Provide high-impact "push-in" and "pull-out" instructional supports, focusing specifically on reading fluency, comprehension, and foundational math skills.
- Oversee a consistent caseload of approximately 20 students, predominantly supporting those with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Delays (DD).
- Design and implement individualized strategies that ensure diverse learners access the general education curriculum while meeting their specific Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Partner with a dedicated team of educators to maintain a high-expectations environment, contributing to academic rigor and student empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement
- Prior experience delivering evidence-based interventions for literacy and numeracy at the elementary or middle school level
