School of Education, Clinical Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis, Non‑Tenure‑Track
Full‑time, exempt, nine‑month academic appointment at Loyola University Chicago’s Chicago‑Water Tower Campus.
Salary: $78,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
Open date: 02 01 2026. Anticipated start:
July 1 2026.
- Maintain a 4/3 graduate teaching load (four courses in the fall, three in the spring).
- Develop and revise course material to align with ABAI accreditation standards.
- Supervise students completing capstone projects.
- Join and support anti‑racism and social justice efforts.
- Maintain and enhance existing partnerships with schools and community agencies.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to prepare accreditation materials.
- Participate in curriculum review and program evaluation for continuous improvement.
- Engage in service activities such as committee participation, program meetings, recruitment events, and student support initiatives.
Minimum Education: Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field;
Licensed behavior specialist in Illinois (or eligible for licensure);
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA‑D).
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing behavior analyst
- Experience supervising behavior analyst practicum students and/or interns
- Experience supporting accreditation or program development initiatives
- Repetitive motions
- Irregular hours
