Position Overview

School of Education, Clinical Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis, Non‑Tenure‑Track

Full‑time, exempt, nine‑month academic appointment at Loyola University Chicago’s Chicago‑Water Tower Campus.

Salary: $78,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.

Open date: 02 01 2026. Anticipated start:
July 1 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a 4/3 graduate teaching load (four courses in the fall, three in the spring).
  • Develop and revise course material to align with ABAI accreditation standards.
  • Supervise students completing capstone projects.
  • Join and support anti‑racism and social justice efforts.
  • Maintain and enhance existing partnerships with schools and community agencies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to prepare accreditation materials.
  • Participate in curriculum review and program evaluation for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in service activities such as committee participation, program meetings, recruitment events, and student support initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum Education: Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field;
Licensed behavior specialist in Illinois (or eligible for licensure);
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA‑D).

  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing behavior analyst
  • Experience supervising behavior analyst practicum students and/or interns
  • Experience supporting accreditation or program development initiatives
