, for the current school year.
- Provide 1-on-1 and small-group academic assistance to high school students in the mild-to-moderate range to support credit recovery and graduation.
- Assist students navigating barriers like poverty, housing insecurity, and educational gaps as a trauma-informed role model for high-risk youth.
- Partner with lead teachers to implement re-engagement strategies for students with histories of chronic truancy to encourage daily participation.
- Apply flexible de-escalation and behavior management techniques to support students transitioning back into a structured school environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Valid Illinois PEL with Paraprofessional Endorsement OR a Substitute License.
- Proven ability to remain patient and solution-oriented in a non-traditional, high-need charter school setting.
- Top Compensation:
Earn $21.10 - $23.10 Per Hour
