The College of Sciences, Health & Pharmacy at Roosevelt University invites applications for an Associate Dean to begin August 15, 2026. The Associate Dean provides academic, operational, and strategic leadership for programs within the College of Science, Health & Pharmacy. Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Dean supports faculty excellence, student success, accreditation compliance, and program innovation across undergraduate and graduate offerings.
Although this position is mostly administrative, a teaching load of one course per semester is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in building and maintaining professional relationships with prospective students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large audience settings.

- Public speaking proficiency and comfort presenting program information to varied audiences.
- Self‑motivated and proactive, with a commitment to service excellence and student‑centered engagement.
- Familiarity with Roosevelt University’s mission, values, and vision, and the ability to represent them authentically in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn and utilize CRM systems such as Slate and centralized application platforms like Pharm

- PhD in a field related to science and health
- Five years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of prior administrative experience, such as department chair, associate chair, or program director

Basic office equipment (laptop computer, copier/multi‑function device, fax and telephone).
Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment with regular use of laptop, phone, copier, and other office equipment.
