Duties and Responsibilities- Teach courses in contemporary advertising technologies, including Analytics, Insights & Strategy, Search & Display Advertising, AI Advertising, Social Media Advertising, Advertising/PR Research and Analytics, and Big Data Research for Advertising.
- Develop and lead research in digital advertising, strategic communication, data‑driven media, and emerging technologies such as AR, AI, biometric analytics, and social commerce.
- Contribute to the School’s growing international presence, community engagement, and social justice initiatives.
- Engage in departmental service, curriculum development, and service to the University and the broader field.
- Ph.D. in a related field by August 24, 2026 (expected start date).
- Significant academic or professional experience in digital advertising, strategic communication, digital media, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and produce scholarly research.
- Experience with global social commerce, livestream shopping, influencer marketing, AI advertising, CRM, Tik Tok campaigns, and retail advertising; research involving biometric labs is an asset.
- Familiarity with applying advertising and strategic communication for social change and social justice.
