Qualifications we're seeking:

* state of illinois professional educator license (pel) with a senior high endorsement in english.

* esl endorsement preferred.

* dual credit college composition endorsement preferred.

* demonstrates innovation and creativity, consistently setting high expectations for student achievement.

* skilled in employing innovative instructional methods and adjusting strategies based on assessment data to cater to individual student learning needs.

* academically prepared to deliver compelling literature and composition courses.

* proven ability in educational planning, including establishing and assessing short and long-term goals.

* a strong understanding and proven ability to implement modifications and accommodations in both resource and inclusion classroom settings.

* committed to an interdisciplinary approach and eager to collaborate with colleagues on developing common assessments and enhancing current programs.

* ready to work with a coordinated curriculum focused on preparing students for external assessments.

* comfortable and capable of implementing a digital curriculum in a 1:1 ipad instructional environment.
