Role DescriptionThe Painting Instructor teaches interior and exterior surface preparation, finishes, coatings, application techniques, safety, and industry standards for the painting trade.
- Teach NCCER‑aligned painting modules including surface preparation, coatings, finishes, tools, application techniques, and safety practices.
- Teach environmental considerations and tool maintenance.
- Conduct classroom lessons and practical assessments.
- Maintain a clean, safe training environment.
- Evaluate learners through projects, presentations, and exams.
Minimum 4 years journey‑level painting experience; OR
Minimum 3 years vocational/technical teaching experience in painting.
- Bonus:
Eligible for NCCER Painting Instructor certification.
