Yes Duties and Responsibilities
We seek a part-time, post-doctoral fellow to support a US Department of Education-funded project awarded to Loyola University Chicago intended to address the shortage of bilingual and bicultural school psychologists prepared to provide culturally relevant school-based mental health supports with P-12 students and their families. This is a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal, contingent on funding. The majority of the work can be completed remotely with some tasks requiring the fellow to be in person at partner sites and on campus (e.g., data collection, school-based consultation, grant convenings).
This project has three primary aims:
* Recruit, retain, and mentor bilingual and bicultural graduate students in our NASP-approved M.Ed./Ed.S. Program in School Psychology,
* Deliver and evaluate a school-based mental health workforce development program with youth in a community agency and
* Engage in school-based consultation with three school districts in the delivery and evaluation of culturally and linguistically responsive school-based mental health supports.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
PhD required in related field.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Earned doctorate in Research Methodology, Social Work, School Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field
* Quantitative research experience,
* Experience in supporting and/or managing grants and logistics, including tracking that grant objectives and deliverables are met
Preferred Qualifications:
* Qualitative research experience
* School-based applied research experience
Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
* Successful candidates will have advanced quantitative analysis skills and expertise in handling large data sets.
* Experience with qualitative research is desired.
* The candidate should have experience planning, conducting, and evaluating applied school-based research and supporting the completion of required grant-related evaluation reports.
* Grant management skills, including collecting, tracking, and supporting data analysis are essential.
* The post-doctoral fellow will collaborate with grant management staff, graduate trainees, and school-based partners.
* Travel to implementation schools and grant convenings are required.
* Candidates should be knowledgeable about culturally and linguistically relevant school-based mental health supports and have a commitment to supporting grant activities centered on training bilingual and bicultural school psychologists to provide culturally affirming school-based mental health supports consistent with Loyola University Chicago's commitment to advancing social justice through transformative education.

Skilled in using various software programs (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat Reader, skills and creative use of technology to create efficient workflows and statistical databases)
