Part Time Faculty, Women's and Gender Studies

We invite applications for a term line position in our Educational Leadership and/or Curriculum Studies Program that begins on September 1, 2026. This role of Professor of Practice offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of educational leaders and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field. As a member of our faculty, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing students for leadership positions in PK-16 education and broader learning environments.

The main areas of focus are teaching, advising, and mentoring students in our master's and doctoral programs and contributing through service to the program and college. This position allows the successful candidate to blend practical experience as an educational leader or innovator with their academic and scholarly expertise, creating a rich learning environment for our students.

The ideal candidate for this position will bring a passion for education, a wealth of practical experience in PK-16 educational settings, and a commitment to teaching excellence. We seek an individual who can inspire our students, contribute to research in the field, and help strengthen ties with the educational community in the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond.
