Soliant Education is seeking a full-time High School Social Worker for a contracted onsite position serving students in the greater Henry County, Illinois area for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is based within a high school setting supporting students in grades 9–12. The assignment is scheduled to begin in August 2026 and continue through May 2027. This education industry position focuses on providing social work support services for both 504 and general education students within a high school campus. The selected professional will collaborate closely with school staff, families, and community organizations to help support student success and emotional well-being. The role also involves assisting with social-emotional learning initiatives and maintaining consistent communication across multidisciplinary teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and stakeholders will be highly valued.

The School Social Worker will participate in 504 meetings and help address student support needs through collaboration and intervention planning. Responsibilities include coordinating SEL screener data, monitoring student progress, and partnering with school personnel to implement appropriate supports. The position also requires communication with outside agencies and community providers to ensure students receive comprehensive services when needed. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced educational setting while maintaining professionalism and organization throughout the school year.

Qualified applicants should have previous experience working with high school-aged students and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience coordinating SEL initiatives or supporting social-emotional programming within schools is highly preferred. Candidates with a background partnering alongside outside agencies or community organizations will stand out during the selection process. Applicants must meet all applicable state certification or licensure requirements for school-based social work services.

This is a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 academic year with an anticipated pay range of approximately $40–$47 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
