Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and comfortable providing interpretation in academic settings
• Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Experience supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) students in a school environment
• Ability to fulfill both direct interpreting and hearing itinerant service roles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to work regular academic calendars and ESY commitments

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver interpreter services for the regular school year, totaling 330 minutes each instructional day
• Provide dedicated hearing itinerant services: 100 minutes of direct support weekly and 180 minutes of consultative support each month
• Step into ESY (June 15 - July 24, 2026, Monday-Friday) to offer interpreter services at 1100 minutes every week
• Continue providing hearing itinerant services during ESY, ensuring 100 minutes per week (direct) and 75 minutes per month (consult)
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment
• Support students' full participation in academic and extracurricular activities
