Dean's Assistant Study Hall Supervisor
Summary
It is the responsibility of this position to assist the Deans of Students and the Director of the Deans Office in maintaining a safe and secure campus and learning environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise students (Study Hall room, hallway, and other areas as requested)
- Keep records as necessary (attendance, monitor grades, database, student work, detentions, etc.)
- Assist in the facilitation of support services for students (i.e. in the Student Support Center, for problem solving teams, with CHS staff, with outside agencies, etc.)
- Assist supervisor in coordination of student tardy activity.
- Create an environment that promotes student responsibility.
- Instruct students on pro-social behaviors.
- Coordinate with teachers and students for work completion for academic and elective courses.
- Work with truant students with relation to attendance issues.

Education, Certification, and ExperienceExperience supervising youth, preferably high school-level students.
Skills and Abilities- Must be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, in Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external constituents.
- Ability to work independently, stay on task, multi-task, and take responsibility to complete assigned projects and duties in a timely and efficient manner.
