Re Generation Schools, founded in 2016, is a nationally ranked charter program with seven charter schools located in Illinois and Ohio. Re Generation serves over 1800 students of whom 99% are minority and 86% are low income. U.S. News and World Report’s 2021 School Ranking listed all Re Generation elementary schools among the top ten charter elementary schools in Illinois. Re Generation expanded to Ohio in 2019, opening its Bond Hill campus in 2019.

• 1‑3 years experience in an urban school setting preferred.
• Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required.
• Valid Professional Educator License (IL Type 73) with School Psychologist Endorsement required.

• Screen and evaluate referred children including selecting appropriate instruments, administering tests, observations, and writing reports which state the evaluation findings and provide for educational program recommendations.
• Participate as a member of the IEP team, contributing evaluation findings and collaborating with all members of the team to develop education plans.
• Consult with parents, teachers, and other staff regarding any accommodations/modifications needed for a specific child.
• Collaborate with other RSPs to ensure that the IEP team has the best picture of a student’s profile.
• Collaborate as an expert in these areas with school staff around MTSS (RTI) implementation and Student Study Team meetings.
• Provide direct and indirect individual and group services to children that emphasize improved educational performance and/or conduct.
• Provide intervention strategies collaboratively and use data to evaluate effectiveness.
• Establish and monitor necessary caseloads, work with schools and other staff to plan assessments and meetings.
• Have a working knowledge of special education law.
• Submit records, reports, and assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• May be required to work outside of normal workdays and office hours to meet operational deadlines.
