Harold Washington College is Seeking a Temporary Student Research Assistant – PT. City Colleges of Chicago’s visionis to be recognized as the city’s most accessible higher educationengine of socioeconomic mobility and racial equity – empowering all Chicagoans to take part in building a stronger and more just city.
The community college system’s more than 3,500 faculty and staff serve more than 60,000 students annually at seven colleges and fivesatellite sites.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be 16 years or older, have work permit consent,and eligible to work in the United States
- Applicants must be actively attending one of the City Colleges of Chicago
- Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hourspre-credit or credit classes
- Applicants must be pursuing an approved educational credential,degree, or certificate
- Applicants must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA(waived for first semester new students)
- Applicants must be in “good standing” – no City Colleges of Chicago academic restrictions
- Applicants must not be current Full or Part-time employees of theCity Colleges of Chicago
- All positions are “employment at-will”
Duties and Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
