About the Position:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full‑time, onsite position in a 1:1 role. This role will support a student with minimal medical needs in a school setting, providing essential care while also assisting in the classroom.

Hours: 35 hours per week
Caseload: 1:1 assignment + classroom assistant

• The student has a G-tube requiring cleaning approximately twice a day.
• The student has a history of seizures and will need monitoring for this condition.
• When not attending to the student's needs, the RN will assist the teacher with classroom activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one‑on‑one nursing care to the student, including G‑tube maintenance and monitoring for seizure activity.
• Assist the student with daily school activities and ensure their health and safety.
• Support the classroom teacher with various tasks and activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed health records for the student.
• municate effectively with the students family and school staff about health concerns and progress.

Requirements:

• Active RN License.
• IL Para Cert (district requirement). If you do not have this certification, it is easily obtained online. Please apply if you are not yet certified!
• Previous experience in a school setting and/or 1:1 nursing roles is preferred; candidates with such experience will be prioritized.
• Proficiency and fort with G‑tube management and seizure monitoring.
• Strong munication and organizational skills.
