Position DescriptionThe CACREP‑Accredited Counseling Program at DePaul University in Chicago, IL is accepting applications for a tenure‑track counseling position to begin in Fall 2026. The role includes teaching graduate courses across the core counseling curriculum and contributing to the profession through active scholarship and service. The successful candidate will also support departmental and programmatic initiatives that foster student engagement, critical inquiry, and the development of counselors as practitioners, scholars, and leaders.
Qualifications- Earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP‑accredited institution.
- Professional identity as a Counselor Educator.
- Professional counseling experience (clinical or school).
- Demonstrated record teaching graduate‑level counseling courses at a CACREP‑accredited institution.
- Established scholarship record and/or agenda.
- Membership and service in professional organizations.
- Experience supervising counseling graduate students in a CACREP‑accredited institution.

Salary range: $71,000–$75,000 for a 10‑month position, commensurate with qualifications and experience. DePaul University offers medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, and tuition benefit.
