Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

• Part‑time program hours:
  Mon‑Fri 6:30 AM‑9:00 AM and/or 3:00 PM‑6:00 PM (may vary slightly)
• Pay: $15‑$18 per hour (based on education and experience)

  Lemont, IL – after‑school area site locations

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• At least six months of experience working with children 5‑13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting (preferred)

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements
• First Aid and CPR in‑person certification
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• Proof of high school diploma/GED required

• Lead daily program meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Model a safe and nurturing environment, demonstrating positive guidance and effective classroom management while children enjoy themselves and meet program goals.
• Prioritize safety and joy: monitor environment, address potential hazards, follow all safety protocols, document attendance, incidents and other observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
