School Psychologist in Chicago, IL

Make an impact in the lives of students as a School Psychologist for the  school year in the vibrant Chicago, IL area. We're seeking dedicated professionals for two full-time contract opportunities serving Early Childhood through 8th grade populations. You'll collaborate within a cross-categorical caseload, providing crucial support across co-op partner districts. Assignments may require travel between multiple districts, offering a dynamic and engaging professional environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Hold or be eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with diverse student populations, preferably EC-8th grades
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities
• Skilled in implementing evidence-based interventions
• Familiarity with cross-categorical caseloads is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to different district environments and travel between locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for students across EC-8th grades
• Develop and implement individualized support plans in concert with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student well-being and success
• Support positive behavior interventions and mental health initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and fulfill all required documentation for assigned caseloads
• Contribute expertise to IEP meetings, guiding best practices for diverse learning needs
• Provide crisis intervention and support as required within the assigned districts
