Manager of Student ServicesReporting to Noble’s Senior Director of Student Services, the Manager of Student Services is responsible for continuous improvement of Noble’s Special Education and English Language Learning programming, staff professional development compliance, academic support, and ensuring campuses comply with state and federal mandates that support students with unique, diverse needs.
Job Responsibilities- Lead, progress monitor, and support Multilingual Coordinators, Case Managers/Deans of Student Services, campus staff, and Principals in compliance metrics for Charter Renewal, ISBE, CPS, and Federal law.
- Coach and provide guidance to campus stakeholders to improve compliance and quality programming.
- Advocate and develop professional development, build campus expertise through Network and Campus‑specific trainings, and support Noble’s anti‑racist commitments.
- Coordinate assessments and collaborations, such as State Seal of Biliteracy Testing, ACCESS testing, WIDA screeners, Interims, Skills Check, STAR Reading & Math, State testing accommodations, and other Network assessments requiring modifications or accommodations.
- Facilitate and coordinate Network‑wide Bilingual Advisory Committee meetings once per quarter.
- Complete classroom observations and coaching to build skills around differentiation and implementation of accommodations for MLs and diverse learners.
- Support campus leaders in meeting behavioral needs of students through observations and brainstorming support plans with research‑based interventions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and support campuses in implementing supplemental academic materials.
- Maintain a relentless commitment to serving students with diverse needs and our ML students, families, and their communities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, solution‑oriented approach to leadership and collaboration.
- Deep expertise in teaching and learning, including ESL/Bilingual instruction, disability awareness, research‑based practices, curriculum, brain development, adult learning, and culturally relevant & sustaining teaching.
- Professional Educator’s License, LBS unlimited, and English as a Second Language Endorsement.
- Team management experience and the ability to partner with a diverse set of people.
- Experience and competencies needed to oversee ongoing short and long‑term change management, setting a clear vision and carrying out strategic planning.
- Bi or Multilingual preferred, though not required.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, with a salary range of $80,000 to $98,000.
