Youth Development, Training Instructor / Specialist
Job Overview
Established in 2010, Coach Across America (CAA) is the nationwide leader in engaging, training and supporting sports coaches to transform youth, programs, and communities. Our Ameri Corps coaching program is the first national service program that challenges young adults to give back to their communities through a year of service as coach‑mentors. CAA’s research, training, and on‑the‑ground initiatives empower sports programs across the country to become a united force for meaningful change.
To date, CAA has reached over 600,000 youth by placing over 3,000 coaches in underserved urban communities. The CAA Training VISTA will play a crucial role in content design/redesign, expanding our contract‑based partner reach, and enhancing current systems and processes while supporting the development of new tools. This will ensure that our vital training can reach more coaches, athletes, students, administrators, and parents that desperately need more support.
The Training Team is a passionate group of coach‑mentors themselves and will be able to help the Training VISTA discover a multitude of ways that we can impact our communities and our future through non‑profit work.
