About the RoleWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to join our curriculum team. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality computer science curriculum for high school, with a strong emphasis on supporting teachers through effective instructional materials and resources.
This is an in-office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North.
What You'll Do- Build and maintain computer science curriculum for high school courses
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to design and launch new courses
- Develop teacher-facing materials including lesson plans, handouts, and activities
- Write and maintain alignments to standards
- Customize curriculum for schools, districts, and states
- Create instructional videos and supporting materials
- Develop familiarity with the CodeHS course catalog
- 3+ years of experience working in the K–12 education system
- Experience with 6–12 computer science education preferred
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Creative, positive, and solution-oriented mindset
Full-time, in-office role in Chicago (River North).
CompensationSalary range: $70,000-$85,000
