Instructional Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer with strong expertise in designing and delivering end-to-end learning solutions using the ADDIE methodology. This role focuses on creating impactful Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) programs, along with supporting learning assets such as job aids and quick reference guides. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage the full instructional design lifecycle, collaborate effectively with stakeholders and SMEs, and deliver engaging, learner-centric training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the end-to-end ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) for instructional design projects
- Conduct training needs analysis by engaging with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Design structured learning experiences, including learning objectives, curriculum frameworks, and training strategies
- Develop high-quality training materials such as: ILT and VILT content, facilitator guides, job aids and quick reference materials, training decks and supporting documentation
- Facilitate or support training implementation, including train-the-trainer sessions where applicable
- Incorporate stakeholder and SME feedback effectively into learning solutions
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
- Ensure alignment of training programs with business goals and learner needs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Instructional Design
- Strong hands-on experience in ILT and VILT content creation
- Proven expertise in applying the ADDIE model end-to-end
- Experience creating job aids, one-pagers, and quick reference guides
- Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) or similar authoring tools
- Strong understanding of learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on IT and/or functional training programs
- Exposure to enterprise environments or large-scale training rollouts
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks such as Kirkpatrick Model
- Experience in change management or transformation projects
What We Are Not Looking For
- Profiles focused primarily on LMS administration
- Candidates with only eLearning development experience without ILT/VILT exposure
